From New York via Los Angeles he has been in several groups including the Virgo Award winning five member L.A. based vocal ensemble Crescendo.

Rocky has been busy entertaining at retirement homes, assisted living facilities and senior centers in Santa Cruz with his piano accompanists Carol Thorson and Matisse Freimark, or at Open Mics such as at The Ugly Mug, or at the Santa Cruz Jazz Society weekly jam session and Open Mic, or with The Rocky Pase Quartet, and also with his Motown tribute band Rocky and the Ball Bearings!
